A Word from Greg:
"I was introduced to the weight training world by a soccer coach I had as a teenager. I had suffered a severe leg injury and he suggested working with weights to help the recovery period. Well, the injury ended my soccer career, but the weight training progressed into bodybuilding over the next few years."
"This sport is certainly not for everyone, and most involved will attest to that. The sport of bodybuilding is mostly a solo effort with the exception of a few people on the outside helping with encouragement and training. I consider myself lucky to have alot of great people in my corner thus far in my career. These people include one of finest bodybuilders to ever come out of Nova Scotia, a long time friend by the name of Todd Gaudet. Todd is definitely the main reason I am where I am today, so I owe him a great deal of thanks. There are also two other people who have been with me in good times and bad. These two are some of the biggest fans of this crazy sport and I thank you both, Peter and Roberta, for everything you have done for me. Then there is Karen Maclean, one of the finest people ever associated with the sport of bodybuilding. Karen has been in my corner over the past two years with words of encouragement and direction and I would like to thank her for taking the time to help me out. I have also had the pleasure of being in good company in the gym. I've had incredible training partners over the years that constantly pushed me to my limits. My partners over the past two years (including present company) have been full of motivation and desire and for that I thank them because without them who knows what would have happened."
"What's Next? I haven't been satisfied with my conditioning since the 2001 Canadian Nationals, so I decided to try something entirely new this year. The 2005 Provincials will be the testing ground. Hope to see you there."
