A Word from Debbie:
"I Started training when I lived in Dartmouth. I was going to school and my Aunt had a membership at a local club. I joined and since I didn't know many people I would work out any chance I got. When I moved back to truro, a guy who owned the local club asked me if I ever considered bodybuilding because he thought I had good genetics for it. He designed a program for me and I entered my first show. I've been doing it pretty much ever since!"
"I work as a personal fitness coach at Diamond Fitness. I totally love my work. I also love cooking and spending quality relaxation time with my husband Chuck. Chuck is the one who handled my pre contest diet for this recent show. It's based on his partner, Don Lemmons, program "Don Lemmons Know How Nutrition" so my whole life is pretty much involved in health and fitness."
"What bodybuilding has done for me": This sport has helped me build confidence. i was very shy growing up. Picked on alot because I was "awkward looking" (ha!) I've met some great people who have inspired me as well as myself inspiring others to reach for their full potential. I give special thanks to all my clients and friends for their support and interest. Mostly I give thanks to my amazing husband who has seen me through my last two successful competitions. His knowlege of the sport and his partner Don Lemmons' program have allowed me to train hard, and feel healthy while doing it. I'm very lucky!"
